Luncheons – Joyce Brady

--February is Black Angus. Mikki requested more detail about future luncheons, to help her field questions, so Joyce has provided her more information for February.

--March – Grace Elliot is organizing the event at the American Legion Hall, 24627 Spruce Street, Newhall (behind the library). Menu will be tri tip, chicken breast, green salad, twice baked mashed potatoes, beans, garlic rolls. Cupcakes will be bought separately. After calculating total cost of space, materials and food, motion was approved for cost of $21 per person. Mikki Garside will give Grace the final attendee count, two days before the luncheon, to make sure we order the right amount of food. Since there may be leftovers, Grace will ask for takeout containers.

--April and May; Jody Baker is planning.

--Joyce checked out The Centre, on Centre Point Parkway. The room holds 75 to 150 people. They supply tables, chairs, and nothing else. Half room is $60 per hour; whole room is $115 per hour; kitchen is a flat fee of $35. We have to do our own cleanup. They require a $1m liability policy plus $500 security deposit.

--Joyce is trying to get in touch with the Paseo Club to find out potential use of their facility.

--The website has an incorrect deadline for the January luncheon. Correction to website will be corrected and an email blast sent out.
