Monthly Updates - 02/15

The holidays are now behind us and now we are looking forward to the Spring season. The nominating committee is working on a new slate of officers for the 2015-16. We will be voting at our March meeting.

I would also like to invite members to attend any of our board meetings. You have the right to bring issues up and also the right to vote. We are always looking for new and creative ideas.

I am happy to say that our club is expanding and we are approaching the 200 mark. We must be doing something right. Let us be grateful to the people that makes us happy for they are truly the ones that makes our lives blossom. We are fortunate to have met them in Newcomers.

2015 started off with Tea at Janice's house, where we were happy to welcome two new members to the Tea Group, who are also new to Newcomers and Friends. Sandy and Felicity brought their good senses of humor and as we shared some of our funnier moments brought to through the courtesy children, songs that still make us smile or laugh, and things that are still on our Bucket Lists. We also talked about how having a Bucket List is a great idea, but we also need to have a plan to make those dreams come to fruition.

As always, Teas are open to anyone in Newcomers, and I have sign-up sheets for all of 2015. They are held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 1:00p.m. We are looking for Hostesses for July and August. If you are interested in hosting or just attending, please let me know. or 661-255-1619

Thank you.
