                             President's Message

I am sending love, thoughts and prayers to the many members who have been sick or had other health related issues. Wishing all of you a speedy recovery. You were missed at the January Board Meeting and at the January Luncheon and auction.

Our Coco Chanel event will be held on Thursday February 8th at the Sand Canyon Country Club. This is a once in a lifetime program and thanks to Jodie Baker for her hard work in planning and organizing this fashion show. Some of our lovely members as well as guest models will be modeling for us. Please make reservations by Jan 29th because we want all of you to attend. This is going to be the “Show of the Year!”

Our nominating committee has started the process of recruiting members to join the Board for the 2018-2019 year. There are many positions and we welcome participation from our members.

Wishing everyone a very happy Valentine’s Day! May the month of February bring you hearts, flowers, good wishes, but most of all “Love!”

Nalini Amin

Coco Chanel 'Illusions'

Our February 8th Luncheon celebrating Coco Chanel is ready to go! Many of our members have been working for months to bring you this very special event. Now it is time to raise the curtain!

Jodie Baker, speaker Valerie Lunt, members and special guest models, our Newcomers "sound man", the “Security" men, and the members who have created table favors, decorations, loaned items and the donors of many door prizes will make this event "not to be missed"!

The afternoon will begin with our speaker and after that our delicious lunch will be served. Then our President, Nalini Amin, will hold a short general meeting. Following that, the music will begin and our “Security" men will be in place as Coco Chanel 'Illusions' begins.

And finally, don’t forget to visit the tables and view the Vintage Chanel items that have been loaned to us by Gwen Halstead and Pat Oguss.

Don't forget your pearls and Chanel #5! See you there!!!

Cost: $32.00

Includes tax and gratuity

Please make your reservation by

January 29th

and specify your choice of chicken or pasta.

Opportunity Drawings at the Luncheon!

**There will not be an opportunity drawing at the February Luncheon and Meeting **

March Luncheon and General Meeting

Our March Luncheon will be held at Black Angus and we will have a Law Enforcement representative
speak about traffic/driving safety. How do you drive those pesky roundabouts??? It will be a very
informative talk and a delectable meal!

April Luncheon and General Meeting

For April's Luncheon we will party like it's the 1950's with our very own 'Sock Hop'! Get your 50's on!

Our Luncheon Team works very hard to get the best value and lowest price for our Luncheons.  However with the rising costs, especially labor and gas, the venues are substantially raising their prices to us. The Team and Board will continue to bring you a fun experience at each monthly Luncheon and General Meeting but probably with higher cost.  The Board discusses many alternatives each month, please come to a Board Meeting for further information.

What good shall I do this day?
