Join your social club hostesses in beautiful Beverly Hills

905 Loma Vista Drive
Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Our day will start at 10:30 am with a tour of historic Greystone Manor. The mansion was built in the 1920's for Ned Doheny and his family by his father, oil tycoon Edward Doheny. The estate sits on 16 acres of land and at the time it was built was the most expensive home built in California.

The house and grounds were purchased by the city of Beverly Hills in 1965 and they were added to the national register of historic places in 1976. The house and grounds are often used in filmmaking and TV. The descending staircase is one of the most famous sets in Hollywood.

After an approximately two hour guided walking tour we will go to the heart of Beverly Hills for lunch.

The cost for the mansion tour is $15.00; lunch will be at your own expense. We suggest car pooling as the parking for lunch will be limited.
The mansion tour is a walking tour.  There are no elevators on the grounds or in the house.

This tour is open to your friends, husbands, or relatives. However, the tour is limited to 25 people, so get your checks in if you're interested.

Please send your checks to:

There are unique fruit trees, shrubs and vines growing underground—some over 90 years old. Sunshine

We sent good wishes to Laura Starr and Jean Fancy who have both undergone surgery this past month; wishing each a speedy recovery. Mavis Skaar has finally returned home after her lengthy stay in a convales-cent home. Her strength and determination has been admired by all. One of her daughters will be staying with her.

Glad to see Sylvia Reyes is once again home and will be able to participate in most of her normal activities.

Helga Kania wishes to extend her thanks to the many caring friends who showed such concern with cards and prayers. All are looking forward to her return to the activities she enjoys.

Mary Jane Frystak, Elaine Ziener and Peggy Schauer continue to need prayers as they undergo some difficult situations.

Mary Behnke and Pat Culp

If you or anyone your know has a special celebration or an illness, please send the information to a Sunshine chairperson,  so that she can send them a card and include them in our monthly updates.
