DIG & DOG (Dining In Group & Dining Out Group) – Spouses/Partners Welcome

Why Join?

  • It’s a fun way to meet new people and enjoy great food in a variety of settings.
  • Whether dining at a restaurant (DOG) or hosting at home (DIG), it’s a flexible and enjoyable way to socialize.

Dining In (DIG)

This group alternates months with DOG, meeting in February and every other month after, six times a year.

  • Groups of 6-8 people, including couples or individuals, take turns hosting meals in their homes.
  • Each group decides how they want to organize their gathering for a meal together.
  • The host typically prepares the main course with attendees bringing either an appetizer, salad, vegetable, or dessert.
  • Groups are organized by the DIG & DOG chairperson.
  • Group members rotate, and a large group gathering may occur once a year.

Dining Out (DOG)

  • The groups are comprised of 6-8 people who meet every other month starting in January, with a total of 6 times per year.
  • Groups meet at a restaurant of their choosing for either breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. The date and time are decided by the group.
  • Rotating group members are assigned by the DIG & DOG chairperson.
  • Once the group members are notified by email, one person in the group coordinates the gathering logistics.
  • Each DOG member takes the role of coordinator once a year.
